I live in the neighbourhood and was so excited for this location to open up! Iāve had a couple good experiences but thatās usually with the day staff. Morning and day staff are friendly however the late afternoon/evening staff are the rudest customer service staff Iāve ever experienced. The shift manager on staff refused to switch my change, Iāve worked at Tim Hortons locations and you are absolutely able to do it, he just refused to out of pure arrogance, he knew I needed it to take the bus as I explained and felt some sort of superiority to take that out of my hands. Luckily, my mother was with me and was able to get change for me before they closed the register on her. My most recent experience was about 15 minutes ago, I went in to get an iced coffee, made extra sweet. This location always messes up the order, just makes a plain iced coffee. I never go back to get it fixed and just drink straight up bean water and cream but my mom convinced me this time I should ask him to remake it. I wish I got this persons name, if so, I will make a formal complaint to head office of this āmanā. He says he will remake the drink, and as heās remaking the drink right next to me, he says to his coworker he āsomehow messed up an order.ā That is NOT how you speak of a customer and their complaint. If they say you messed up, you messed up. It doesnāt taste right. Do not try and say itās all in my head by making that condescending comment. He hands me the drink and arrogantly says, āTry this and see how it tastes.ā So I take my time to unwrap the straw and take a sip. I say, āitās fine, tastes like you actually made it with sugar this time, thanks,ā and walked away. Iām so sick of this person working every time I go in. Ā Ā Ā Read moreSaturday September 9th 10:30 am. There was a long line up at the drive thru so we decided to go inside. There was a car parked in front of the store in the drive lane under a no parking sign causing chaos in the parking lot. We went inside and counted 11 employees behind the counter. We placed our order quickly and the young lady at the counter was quite pleasant. There was a line up of people waiting for their food and we fell in line with them. Coffees came quickly but the food was a different story, the person in front of us finally got his food but was perturbed that it was wrong. He left after getting it straightened out very unhappy. By the time we finally got our food, two more cars parked and left from in front of the store, I assume they were directed to by the drive thru to wait for their food as I observed it being hand delivered to their cars by the hostesses. I suppose we should have checked that our food was right before we left because we discovered it was messed up as well later in our car. I remind you 11 staff on shift!! I felt compelled to write this today in hopes that the owner reads this and retrains their associates in the importance of efficiency and accuracy when working in a fast food establishment.
