Kitchen 1409 — Restaurant in Bras d'Or

We stayed across the street for 3 days and ate dinner here twice, everything is delicious! The wings, haddock bites with frites and seafood chowder are all amazing! We all really loved the seafood chowder, it is rich and delicious and you can get it in 2 sizes, cup or bowl - both served with the best biscuit in the world!!! For those who don't crave sea bugs - the chicken wings are also great, they make their own hot sauce and it's hot but still has a good flavour. They close early (7pm) so plan to be here before 5:30pm. Reasonably priced especially when compared to other places on the island. The staff here is lovely as well, friendly and kind....

From the outside, it looks like just a plain building but when you step inside, its super fancy.
