I was on my way to Halifax at 3pm and stopped here for a coffee and to use the washroom (bathroom so google can tag it). Man o man, I’ve seen cleaner hole in the wall toilets. Urine all over the floor, trash can overflowing and no water in the sink. I came out and as a concerned customer told the gentleman behind the counter about it. He gave off a concerned vibe and I thought that was it. On my way back from Halifax stopped here again for a decaf at 8:30 pm. To say that the situation had gotten considerably worse is an understatement. Just stepping into the area that led to the washrooms was enough to make you vomit. I told another gentleman behind the counter that I had told his colleague (who was still at work) about it earlier that afternoon and not only he had done nothing, he had let it get worse. A concerned customer heard the dialogue and suggested I should speak to the manager. I was too tired to pursue the issue, hopefully the manager, owner and/or Tim Hortons corporate reads this. Yuck! #timhortons
Edit: A message to the owner. I’ve read the reviews below and you say you’re very concerned and that customers should contact you. At least 8 other people have told you how disgusting your washrooms are. If you aren’t adequately concerned about the reviews before mine, no reason you’d be with mine. Since you’re struggling to deal with this complex issue I’ll point you in the right direction. Cleaning chemicals, a mop and a bucket should help. Hope that addresses your concern of being concerned.
I’ll probably be better served sending a note to corporate with a snapshot of your previous reviews and your...
Read moreVisiting this location was very much not a good experience. We had trouble with ordering at the cash register (luckily there’s a readout with all of the items on the customer’s side). Then when we picked up our sandwiches, the first thing we noticed was that the woman behind the counter gave us 2 hash browns instead of the 3 that we ordered. When we corrected her, she insisted that we did not order 3, and it took us being more assertive about our order before her coworker pointed at the screen and told her that it said right there that we ordered 3 hash browns. THEN we get back to our car to find that she didn’t do our sandwich orders right either. Two out of the three sandwiches were wrong, and since no one else around us ordered any sandwiches, it was definitely our order that got so incredibly messed up. AFTER fixing that problem and returning to the car again, we check our box of Timbits, and of course that was incorrect too. There were THREE employees that we had to correct. The only part of our order that someone got right was the small black coffee. ADDITIONALLY, we had the pleasure of witnessing what seemed to be a regular arguing with the employees, who were very rude back at him. He himself was quite rude and seemed like a difficult customer, but the employees that responded to him only aggravated the situation instead of diffusing it. I’m sure there are a couple of great employees that work at this location, but they were greatly outnumbered by people that were rude and needed to constantly be corrected by customers on how to...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews for restaurants but this place is insane. Honestly should be shut down. The whole place is an absolute disaster, there were flies swarming around inside the building and arouns the food, crawling around on the ceiling, I bet at least 20% of the ceiling was covered in just flies. There is garbage everywhere, which doesn't sound surprising at first, but if you see it for yourself, it's gross. Tables are all filthy, the floors are covered in garbage, and I went there by noon and it's not even a busy place so I don't understand how it's possible for it to be so disgusting. It's understaffed and the employees, while I know they're obviously stressed and it's not entirely their fault, take forever to prepare the food and it's not even very good quality. My grandma got milk and it was warm, my breakfast sandwich was cold when I got it and it doesn't taste bad, but there's no reason it should've taken as long as it did to get my food. The majority of the employees also don't even wear gloves, I saw one girl working at the drive thru who got cookies for a customer and she wasn't wearing gloves which is gross especially when she was just handling cash and change. Also with the amount of reviews I've seen about how gross this place is, I don't know how they're still in business. There were flies literally crawling all over and flying around the baked good, which I was going to buy something but changed my mind because of that. I've never seen a Tim Hortons, or any restaurant for that matter, that was...
