Shangri - La Restaurant — Restaurant in British Columbia

The ownership was very nice but the “restaurant” needs some management and cooking help. The place smelled bad and it was easy to recognize that the food was not prepared at that location. My food seemed to be a meal that was “maybe cooked twice”. The meal I got from there was the only thing I ate that day and I left with having food poisoning all the following day. I am currently so sick I don’t think I’ll ever eat Chinese food again. I would recommend other restaurants in the area or just...

Stopped by since I was craving some chicken fried rice. Ended up ordering a second batch to go. Probably the best food in town. Old man runs the place by himself, and the quality of the meals shows how much he cares about it. Definitely reccomend if you're passing by, you're gonna be full until your destination.

I needed to get a contact for a motel where I left an item so I called this place as it was nearby. The owner was super nice and went out of his way to close his restaurant and walk over to the motel so I could get in contact with them.
