Le Bistro M. — Restaurant in Bromont

This is a top 5 favorite restaurant in the world for me, and if you check my review history, I think it's fair to say that this is not a statement that I take lightly. When I'm in Bromont, this is my happy place. Not only is the food decent (note: not wonderful), but the atmosphere is, at least for me, perfect. If you like airplanes, this is the place to eat. The seating is along a windowed wall looking out at the flightline of the local airport. The interior decor is aviation themed, modern, and just so cool. The service is good, too, and the wait staff all speak both French and English. Working at IBM, DALSA, GE, or one of the other big companies in the area and looking for a place to escape on your lunch hour?...

Edit 2: after a few years with the new owner, they got the atmosphere back! It's a nice place to go for a bite and the prices are reasonable!

Edit: restaurant has been sold, the quality of the food is good, but not what it was, atmosphere is still very nice, but it is missing the original charm. Still a good place to eat

This little hidden gem is a wonder to discover! Food is excellent, everything has a Mexican twist! I recommend this place to everyone I speak to. As an added bonus, you can enjoy your meal while watching cesnas and helicopters take off and land. This place is a must if you are looking for something new and refreshing...

Expérience très décevante.

Nous sommes arrivés et avons attendu 30 minutes pour avoir une table, ce qui peut arriver, mais le vrai problème a commencé ensuite : il a fallu 1h30 après s’être assis pour être servis.

Aucun service d’eau offert, mon père a dû aller se servir lui-même. J’avais mentionné mes allergies à certaines épices, mais ça n’a pas été pris en compte. L’assiette servie contenait des patates épicées, ce qui aurait pu être dangereux. Aucun remplacement ne nous a été proposé.

Mon père a reçu la mauvaise assiette, heureusement remplacée rapidement. L’ambiance était extrêmement bruyante, difficile de discuter normalement.

J’avais commandé un grilled cheese avec uniquement du cheddar – il est arrivé avec très peu de mozzarella, et aucun cheddar. Les fruits qui accompagnaient le plat étaient pas mûrs.

Le service semblait désorganisé, plusieurs personnes autour de nous se plaignaient aussi du temps d’attente. À un moment, on a proposé de commander en même temps que notre boisson, mais la serveuse a refusé en disant que la cuisine était débordée… puis a pris la commande d’une autre table juste après. Il a fallu rappeler pour être certains d’être pris en compte.

Dommage, car le lieu semblait prometteur. Mais entre l’attente, le manque de considération pour les allergies et l’ambiance, on ne...
