Robins Donuts — Restaurant in Brooklyn

Middleton Robin's petro-can - see update at bottom of post. 4.5 stars actually... for your BIG breakfast. Sausage is really good, bacon perfectly cooked. Had scrambled eggs, toast was good too. Service was great, asked if we wanted jam and ketchup. PLEASE KEEP BREAKFASTS. we need a classic breakfast option in this area badly. Please please keep this! Will return. Reason for rating:

1. Comes with small coffee, charge for upsized. For 9 dollars for breakfast, coffe is cheap and should be any size or be free refill. This is not stated in the ad that you only get a small coffee. It should be stated.
2. Unrelated to the breakfast - apple fritters are a doughnut. Not able to get them as a doughnut makes me go to Tim Hortons. Charging 1.95 for them AND not having the price seperate on the menu is very annoying. It is a doughnut. UPDATE: May 22, 2019 Usually when something is new, the food is perfect.. BUT can slack later. Went in at 9:45. Classic and big breakfast ordered. Hashbrowns tasted like yesterdays reheated.. sitting under their warmer dried out, hard and Luke warm. Gross. Sausage, over cooked and dried out.. suspect it is being kept warm like the potatoes. Not worth the cash. Step up quality if you want to keep your customers. You wont with sub-par leftover food. Being a local, I had high hope for a decent breakfast place, as we need one...

I often see many customers in this store without masks on.. I feel very unsafe having them walk past me when I am trying to eat, or even worse, standing behind me when I am ordering. The staff are always masked and pleasant but they should not be providing service to those who do not abide by public health and safety laws! There is a sign on the front of the store saying masks are mandatory but clearly this is not enforced for the sake...

Normally .... Great service, great prices-- and they make better break fast sandwhiches than Tim Hortons I find. When you ask for extra bacon? You actually do get extra bacon at Robins. Thumbs up!

Thumbs down today July 2/23 however. Noon time staff not overly service or quality oriented.

Tomatoe? A half slice. Cheese? Yup. A half slice. Bacon? One slice cut in half. One egg.

THAT is not worth the price. Tell me I am...
