To call Masala Flavours a fine Indian restaurant would be a massive understatement in my eyes; this place is an absolute revelation when it comes to genuine cultural food from the best parts of Eastern life! The spices, the flavour, and oh the taste!!
I tried a variety of chicken and beef curry dishes with a healthy serving of garlic naan that took me to the moon when it comes to a satisfying culinary experience. The owners were friendly and courteous in making certain that my first ever experience would likely be the gold standard for future vists, and they were right.
The food was terrific and the dinner left such a sumptuous mark on one of the best kept secrets around these parts. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.
I highly recommend vistiing Masala Flavours and discovering what will likely be your "go to" Indian restaurant moving forward. It's a the kind of business that deserves the support of both the local community and those living outside of Caledon/Alton.
I challenge you to try them today and learn what I did in the most organic manner possible. Drop by, order a few dishes, and emancipate your taste buds. It'll be the best thing you'll likely...
Read moreWe stopped here on our way home today, craving some really good Indian cuisine. I'll say this; we were not disappointed at all. It was sensational. We lived steps from Little India in Toronto for 4 years and none of the places we went there came close to this place.
The butter chicken was perfect. They obviously take great care in the blending of spices and you could see that they grill or tandoor the chicken as well. Nice touch. The paneer tikka masala was incredible as well. Nice big chunks of paneer and a beautifully crafted sauce with the perfect amount of heat. They tasted authentic, not the overly sweet butter chicken you often find.
We had some samosas and naan with the curries and WOW. Best samosas we've ever had (better even than the Sultan of Samosas in Scarborough). The naan was amazing as well.
I wish it was closer. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be stopping by to grab some more. If you love Indian food, this place is highly recommended. The dining room could use a little love but who cares when they put this much time and love...
Read moreThis takes top place on my list for worst food in Canada. First of all there is no space to sit and eat. Second, I have ordered noodles which is full of oil and tasteless sauce and Biriyani which has mint flavour and god knows what all masala’s they’ve put. Each dish costed me 15$ + tax which is not at all worth it. Definitely not recommended.
Response to the owner: My issue is not about the place because we sat in our car and ate the food. The issue is with the taste of food and yes I have ordered noodles first and biriyani later because my family wanted to eat biriyani as well not just noodles. I got both the orders at the same time and I tasted both together. If you are aware of your food taste that’s great but this is my review on the food I got. Hope you take the review...
