This place is NOT FRANGRANCE FREE. The worst part is because this place is so small they can’t ventilate and the smell just stays there. For my experience, when we first came, this place smelled amazing. It smelled like citrus. I think they are using citrusy smelling cleaning solution for the table. HOWEVER, when a person who used a strong perfume entered, I felt like I was gonna vomit because I was eating. And because it’s such a small place, the smell can’t escape. When we were leaving the restaurant, the whole place smelled like that person’s perfume.

Atmosphere(5/5)- It looks really cute and cozy with a nice ocean view.

Service(1/5)- When we were entering the restaurant, no one welcomed us. They were just looking at us, so I had to initiate the conversation. Our server was the lady who was wearing a thick glasses and had a pony tail (Apr,20th at 5:30pm). She kept showing her attitude each time she came to our table. I’ve never had a server who says “okay” with an attitude, when I asked for the bill AT A FINE DINING PLACE. She is not meant for customer service jobs at a fine dining place. I would rather bring my food from the kitchen than to have to see her attitude.

Food(1/5)- We ordered oyster and steak and potato. I was expecting a lot because this place is fine dining. However, the oyster just tasted like fried oyster from sushi takeout. Especially, the sauce they used for oyster just tasted like takeout sushi quality. Steak and potato was okay, but not...

This was the one of the best places in town, and every time I come to Campbell River I dine here. I even skip lunch so I can enjoy every bite and order multiple items. My first bad experience, Scallop Appetizer bland zero flavor, Mussels and Scallops Appetizer bland no flavor. Mushroom Wellington the mushrooms' and nuts was bland and the puff pastry was inedible as it was mushy and not cooked. I ate the vegies and the inside of one of the wellingtons couldn't eat the other. Seafood Linguini my wife had and it was the only item that was ok. In parting they gave us a desert as an apology but it too was undercooked and hadn't even set so we couldn't eat it either. We found out later as we were leaving that the normal chef has left the Sous Chef is away on personal matters. Feel bad for whoever is filling in and the staff there were pleasant just the food is no longer any good. Very disappointing as we have been there over a dozen times and normally want to lick the plates clean. Unfortunately we will have to find a new place to go.

Looks like the have acknowledged their mistake and have given us a voucher to return, a step in the right direction so changing my rating if the meal is as good as it was when we used to go I will change the...

By far an exquisite high quality restaurant for anyone looking to fine dine! The restaurant is located in a cozy resort with gravel parking lot on the main road at entrance. Visited in summer 2021. The ambiance is nice, cozy with trees, nature around and a beautiful view. The food was very high quality!!! Appetizer: Prawn Stack was amazing, fresh and a good starter; Entrees: the Tuscan Chicken (crispy thin layer of skin with moist meat) and Salmon Mignon (moist and delicate) were perfectly seasoned, flavoured and moist. Risotto was creamy and cooked perfectly! Chocolate Delice was delicious, although a little rich for our tasting but wonderful! We truly enjoyed the customer service as our waiter was kind and always checked on us throughout the whole experience! For anyone looking for a fine dine restaurant, don't let the location fool you, their menu and service is full value, you really get what you pay for!! Looking forward to...

Wow! Our fourth visit over three years and it’s consistently awesome. Last November we brought Ottawa foody friends who were blown away. This year we stayed in Campbell River just to eat at Anglers. It did not disappoint. I had the beef tenderloin and hubby had the seafood linguini. They were cooked perfectly and there was a ton of great seafood. I took photos ( alas after we took a few bites) as it was all so tasty. Our attentive server was so accommodating as I am a bit picky on vegetables. We also had a lovely green salad with poached pear. Wine, beer and tea were all good. This restaurant is good value given the quality and quantity of good food. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Anglers Dining is an absolute gem in Campbell River. The food was outstanding—every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I had the seafood linguine and it was cooked to perfection, while the tuna special was a standout—perfectly seared and incredibly tasty. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with cozy rustic touches and beautiful views that make the whole experience even better. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, a great vibe, and top-notch service, Anglers should be at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be back!
