Herring Cove Golf Lodge Restaurant — Restaurant in Campobello Island

Took family there for a quick bite after a long day. Waited at least 30 mins for some simple burgers and sandwiches. By then, the mosquitoes were getting bad on the deck, asked the waitress whether we can move inside, was told there was no table. The mosquitoe situation got worse and worse when the food was finally served, we had to ask for carry out box to leave within 5 mins after we started. At that time, a nice lady told us there was an empty table inside and she helped us moved in. The waitress did not help at all, nor did they show any sorry. We left right after kids barely finished their food. I cannot believe how cold and unsympathetic the waitress were. On the other hand, they did ask another couple who came after us to move inside, don't understnd why we were treated differently, maybe because we were the only colored people there.
