The Canora Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Canora

The lady always talks to people for way too long. I've stood outside in 46 degree weather in a line of 5 people for 45 minutes because she could not shut up. My ice cream melted before my boyfriend even got his because she wouldn't stop talking. The prices are outrageous and anytime I've gone over picked up on the same health hazard!!! She touched the money/ cash register then your cone. They always grab the napkin with one hand and the cone with another ungloved dirty hand. You MUST wash your hands after handing cash before you touch the food!!! The woman speaks so fondly of her establishment comparing herself to scoops. Mam you are the slower, mam you have much dirtier food practices, not to mention your crazy prices. Spend less time trying to upsell and ons and telling your life story and do your job. Also any of your soft serve special flavours are watery & your soft serve was gritty last week. This is directed to the older woman who is there all the time I believe the owner.

When I went there for a drink, I could not find the price of it. I ask for it and was blatantly ignored, and before I knew it, the drink was in front of me and was charged $9 for it! And the mess in the kitchen was appalling! Garbage everywhere, flies, and dirty counters. I was also declined a double burger! Told that that is insane! Very disappointed with this place. I will probably not visit this place again. I recommend no one visit this place.

Edit: I saw the kitchen through the window and was utterly disgusted with the state. Yes I ordered a burger there! And my drink WAS $9!!

Good vibes, good food, freindly service, prices are varied as the onwer tries to make sure you can get a treat even with pocket change. plus a local business and not a major food chain.
