The service was lovely. The food was decent. We had burgers and fries. Both a little overdone but good and the food came out quickly. Again, staff was lovely.. However I can’t shake my experience walking in the venue with locals. We had been riding motorcycles from America for about 9 hours when we decided to stop for food for the first time. We were excitedly talking about the coastline and how hungry we were in the parking lot. An older woman walked by us and sneered and said to her partner/husband “ewwww ugh. Americans.” And then they rolled their eyes. We were walking behind them and she said this loud enough IN ENGLISH so we could hear her, and then her husband not only didn’t hold the door for me as I walked up behind him to enter, but actively pulled the door completely closed in my face. :( While seated at the bar waiting for food and looking at the beautiful view and artwork, that woman and her party kept staring at us and not in a friendly way. If you speak English only and are American… the locals may not want you here...
Read moreUn service médiocre lorsque l'établissement PLANIFIE des arrivés d'autocars plein de touristes.
I was unfortunate to come this summer with my family during a night they have bought a bus full of tourists people. The servers have been all over the place and focusing solely on these clients leaving the rest of the customers waiting for MORE THAN AN HOUR without food nor any explanation of why we were waiting that long. A table next to us complained and the server then offered a drink, otherwise they let the rest, including us without any compensation. Unfortunately this establishment is here to make as much money as they can by bringing buses full of customers, and want do to good towards those companies who bring them those customers leaving the rest with no service.
I pity the owner who let this kind of things going in his establishment, preferring money over the...
Read moreMy comments is regarding the touring of Cap Chat River with Kayaks that we rented there. We did the long 17 km tour, which takes about 4 hrs. The landscape is splendid along the river and the water is limpid. Although most rapids are class 1 (as we were told), some can be considered class 2 (moderate). We were experienced kayakers and we managed the rapids but it was very physically demanding. Also, the water level was low in August so we hit many rocks with the kayaks and got stranded (a lot of pushes!!). In my opinion, the activity is certainly not for young kids and those who are not at ease with water sports, rapids and cold water. Overall, a nice experience but not for everybody. Also, I would not recommend to bring your own kayaks and the long tour is not for SUP (even if they rent...
