I don’t write reviews unless my experience was really bad or in this case incredibly good… We went for a birthday supper with a large group of 23. There were 8 adults and 15 kids in our party. We were seated in the covered patio area which was ideal and private for our large noisy clan. From the moment we got there the service was fantastic. Drink orders were taken and our food orders were taken shortly after. The food didn’t take long and came out steaming hot. My fiancée and I had the crab dip to start. I had the seafood linguini, my fiancée had the clams and my 16 month old daughter had the chicken bits from the kids menu. The food was absolutely delicious and priced very fairly. Cap-Pele is a small town with a population of under 2500. Resto 577 has better food and service than 90% of the restaurants in Moncton in my opinion. I highly recommend it. The only suggestion I would make is additional parking. It was a Friday night and parking was sparse. Other than that zero complaints. Thanks for the great experience Resto 577 and we will definitely be...
Read moreI've been here many times in the past and usually really enjoy it. Everyone raves about their seafood dishes, though I don't eat seafood myself. I've had their burgers (always delicious) and their hot chicken, which was also very good. I recommend this place to others often because it's usually a solid spot for a good meal.
That said, my last visit was a bit of a letdown. I ordered the Triple-Decker Club expecting the usual strips of chicken you get everywhere else, but instead it came with a chicken salad-style filling (shredded/mixed chicken). I really think this should either be noted on the menu or mentioned by the servers so people know what to expect.
Overall, it's still a great location with plenty of tasty options-we've typically enjoyed our meals here. But that one experience definitely knocked a few points off for me.
P.S. I really don't rec and trying the Trinle-Decker Club unless vou...
Read moreI had high hopes for Resto 577, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.
We arrived at 5:45 and weren’t seated until 6:10, which wasn’t ideal but understandable on a busy night. However, things went downhill from there. We placed our order for food and drinks around 6:15, and we didn’t receive anything until 7:30 — over an hour later.
What made the wait worse was the lack of communication. Our server never came to check in on us, offer an update, or even refill water. It felt like we were completely forgotten.
The food itself (once it arrived) was decent, but after waiting that long with no service, it was hard to enjoy the meal.
I really wanted to like this place, but the service needs serious improvement. I hope this was just an off night — but for now, I won’t be...
