Ate breakfast there today. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was pretty good too. Prices were high-ish but nothing crazy , especially when you consider it is one of (if not the only) restaurant in town.
I had the traditional breakfast, and while the eggs were only so-so, the hasbrowns had just the right amount of crispness and spice to them. The bacon was good too.
The old timey pictures on the wall, the old timey music in the background, and the um ?old timey? bearskin rug on the ceiling were nice touches as well. I'd definitely stop...
Read moreHigh recommended restaurant in Carmacks. It is a family oriented. The food in general was fantastic and the service was very friendly. Be patient with the staff, it is a small restaurant that have a lot to offer.
In the same location, you find close by a grocery store, gas station, hotel, hard ware store, hunting and fishing gears and souvenirs..... It is the main service area in town.

The young man who waited on us was simply wonderful .... attentive, competent, kind, and sweet. And the food was delicious and plentiful (I ordered chicken souvlaki and a sublime cheesecake drizzled with ambrosia).
