China Palace — Restaurant in Central Huron

To start,China Palace is by far the best Chinese Restaurant in Southwestern Ontario!Why you may say? First the food is both fresh,hot & taste.Owned by a wonderful caring & considerate person named Connie.Meals are served,either by individual type or packaged specials.Take-outs can be phone ordered also.When you arrive for your pick-up order, you're greeted with a smile & your order is always fresh & well packaged for take-out.If you choose the other option to just drive in,no problem.Take a seat in the front or if very busy in the rear,were there is additional seating.It has always amazed me that no matter how busy they may get the tables always have fresh place mats,tablecloths & cutlery.When ordering specials,in many cases substitutions can be made!This is very unusual for a Chinese Restaurant.My daughter who is 12 comes with me & my wife at least once a month.She loves chicken & has the same dish ever time.Knowing us by name they welcome us that way with a smile every time.Take yourself & maybe even your family to this wonderful Chinese establishment!You'll be glad you did.Locate just North of the town of Clinton Ontario as the road forks at Baseline Road & HWY.#4.Hope to see you there! My mouth is watering as I write this review...

Whenever I'm in Clinton, I always put in a request to go to the China Palace. This restaurant consistently delivers outstanding food and affordable prices. Everything is made in-house, from scratch and nothing is from frozen. The owners are friendly and have been part of the community for decades - certainly a fixture of the Town.

Everything I've ordered has been very delicious but my personal favourites is the Kwong Tong Chow Mein, Egg rolls, and Honey Garlic Ribs. The Egg Drop soup and Won Ton soup are hearty and homey. You can tell the dishes are made with care and love!

I see all these good reviews and maybe its just me and my family but my girls and i stopped for lunch and everything we had was discusting the rice was crunchy the egg rolls werent bad but really gingery. Sesame chicken looked and tasted weird as did the sweet and sour pork.. i always have yet ka mein soup and it was really blah.. also the restaurant is very outdated and smells really bad inside! I hate writing bad reviews but that was a waste...
