Clyde's cookhouse — Restaurant in Central Manitoulin

So here is the thing with Mantoulin island: Everything shuts down in the evening and if you didn't grab food...you sleep hungry! We did a stop-over here for some custom-made burgers and fries. Although the place is kinda right by the road it feels very relaxed and chill. Clyde's Cookhouse...is a seasonal gem in the Mindemoya area...especially if you're a burger person.....they have great handmade burgers.....lots of variations most bigger then anything I'd try...but a bacon burger with the works...tax and tip....around 11 bucks.....great burgers...I'm not a poutine connisuier but they have good " fries...with gravy and cheese"... and if you can eat a whole order....you're besting me by half an...

Cute little restaurant about 5-10 mins from the beach. I was on a veggie diet when we visited them. The only option on the menu for us was a veggie burger.

Fingers crossed, we ordered it and it turned out to be delicious.

The side dishes- Onion rings(very crispy) and mushroom caps(which we had for the first time) were awesome!

Definitely coming back and trying the...
