La Bienvenue Restaurant and Pub — Restaurant in Chapleau Township

Awful service for delivery paid 40.00 for 2 poutines and 2 burgers and the burgers were cold inside. Was told I would be given two meals as a replacement. I figured I would lesser it to just one meal so I ordered the same meal burger with poutine no drinks. The delivery driver showed up tried to charge me for the burger with was the cd food to start with and brought 2 drinks I order from la bienvenue fairly often always tip well and treat the workers with respect.. I am not above anyone but I will definitely not be ordering...

If you only come to Chapleau to eat at this restaurant it will have been worth it. We drove from Sault Ste Marie on an amazing scenic route and were relieved to see this restaurant here. It is kitsch and retro and amazing. The soup of the day is the best soup I've had in seven weeks in Canada. Then the burger and chips were great with pickles and sour cream! Go figure. A very hidden treasure that you are NOT going to find if you are searching for the Mandarin. Stopped in to eat during a work trip. Service was a second to none. The Chinese cuisine was as authentic as the Cantonese wizard behind the kitchen wall. The owner was observed coaching his front of house staff with absolute positivity, which was very refreshing to see. I will most definitely stop back here when I am back...
