Excellent breakfast in what I thought was unlikely to be a good restaurant, considering it is half a gift shop and the other half I was expecting to see an elevated menu on a sign for fast food/snacks since it's in an airport but I was pleasantly surprised when they seated us and handed us menus.

As you can see in the photo I got the $15 breakfast that comes with 3 eggs (I do Sunnyside up for toast dipping), ham, bacon, sausage and Bologna with tater tot hash browns and rye toast; it was all done very well and I enjoyed every bite. My fiance had the breakfast wrap without hash browns and said it was very good, super cheap too! The bacon was crispy without being overdone, sausages were very flavorful along with the ham and Bologna, the tater tots were cooked perfect and my were my eggs were perfect. About my only gripe is I wish the rye toast was bigger for dipping in the yolks but there were 6 little slices instead of the typical 4 you'd get with white or whole wheat.

Service was fast, the staff were polite and they were super on the ball refilling my coffee which was nice on a stressful day. I only wish I could've tried the lobster omelet as well after we just returned from a lobster crawl holiday in Nova Scotia and found only one lobster themed breakfast meal, but I was super hungry and got their biggest option.

Too bad I probably won't be back too often since we were in that airport due to how terrible swoop treated us after a second round of unexplained cancellations in Moncton, but it is nice to know there is an airport in our range with a solid choice for a...

My girlfriend Caroline and I have eaten Budley’s takeout a few times but this was our first sit down meal in his restaurant at the Charlottetown Airport.

Earl was very hospitable and easy to talk to, and we enjoyed the banter before placing an order for the evening. Caroline wanted an Aviator burger, and I was looking forward to the fish and chips. Caroline mentioned they offered a chocolate and banana milkshake, so we asked for that as well.

Earl came back out to tell us that “Yes, we have no bananas, We have no bananas today!” Ah well, subbed in a strawberry shake in its place.

I’ve had the fish as takeout, but getting it fresh and hot on my plate was fantastic, for the batter is a thin one, and perfectly done in my opinion. The review would lose a half star for bag fries, but Caroline’s Aviator burger was an incredible find that I am going to have to return for in the future that put that half star right back into the review. I ate my coleslaw and Caroline’s when she offered it up to me, and I would have easily have enjoyed twice as much as it’s that good.

It was a lovely meal in a venue that Caroline and I never expected to find ourselves in, heading to the Airport for supper. Don’t forget to have your parking ticket validated before leaving the restaurant!

Thanks for a great meal and chat!

Our flight was delayed so we decided to get a "quick" bite to eat at Budley's. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had gluten free bread so we all ordered sandwiches as we thought it would be a fast option (chicken salad, grilled cheese and a club so nothing too complicated). It took almost one hour to receive our order. On top of that the gluten free sandwich was the smallest gluten free sandwich anyone in our party had ever seen. It had to be 3" X 3" inches at most. Members of my family couldn't stop laughing it was so ridiculous. I'd be shocked If it took me 20 seconds to eat. Budely's should either make you aware of the size of the gluten free sandwiches or give you two it was that small. On top of that I didn't get the coleslaw that was supposed to come with the sandwich! Unfortunately we were already through security when I opened it up or I would have taken it back and demanded a refund. I realize GF options are never the same as regular orders. There's always some compromise but this was absolutely ridiculous. The lessons learned from this experience are : 1) don't place an order at Budely's if you have a flight to catch. It might not get there in time and 2) stay away from the GF sandwiches. The sizes are so small they are...

In terms of the actual meal, Budley’s offers your standard casual small airport fare—nothing fancy. However, I was impressed by the generous portion size, and I thoroughly appreciated the staff’s willingness to modify my order to meet my several dietary restrictions. It was nice to have a salad with spinach instead of just lettuce, and the pan-fried PEI potatoes were a comfort food that hit the spot. The staff also kept me aware of changes to my flight as alI was eating, and didn’t roll their eyes when I double and triple-confirmed that my meal was allergen-free. Great service!
