Good food. However, this KFC is consistently slow and provides the wrong orders.
Today, for lunch I decided to try the Pickle Meal Box. I waited nearly 20 minutes for the food. Those things happen; no big deal; lunch rush. The General Manager, Kyla, who was working at the cash, was very apologetic and rectified the situation by taking my name and number so I can claim a free sandwhich on my next visit. Although I wasn't expecting this, it was very good of her as it shows that she takes wait times seriously, which I appreciate, as someone who works as a Manager of a quick-service food location. When I got my food, I realized that it wasnt all there. They did not give me my pickle chips or the pickles for the Pepsi. As someone who doesn't like to complain at restaurants, I decided not to say anything and to just accept the loss.
Later, I decided to go back to KFC for supper, since I can also redeem my free sandwhich. I purchased the loaded pickle fries and the pickle Pepsi to go with the sandwhich. This visit was late, around 10pm, so only one other customer was there. They were staffed by three employees, who weren't the friendliest. Not rude, just not friendly. It took 10 minutes for me to get the order, which was slow for there only being one other customer When I went to get my drink, I noticed that the Diet Pepsi was just water. I told the staff member. She told me they are out of Diet Pepsi. Weird, but fine; I got regular Pepsi instead. Then, when I went to the car to enjoy my food, I realized that they did not give me the pickle fries and instead the pickle chips. They also forgot the pickles for the Pepsi. I went back inside to get the pickles, but didn't mention that she forgot the fries because I didn't want to wait any longer. I did enjoy my food, from both visits, despite it not being exactly what I ordered.
So overall, my experiences at this restaurant have not been great. To recap: the food is good, the service is slow, the orders are wrong, the staff lack friendliness, and the General Manager is great. I have confidence that with this GM in charge now (I think that I heard her say that she's only been here for a few weeks. I might be wrong though.) that she can turn this location around. She's got a lot of work ahead of her and alot of people to whip into shape. I will be back; but it may be a while.
P.S: I have mixed feelings about the key for the bathroom. I get why they do it, but it doesn't seem sanitary to me because I have to touch it before I eat. I can't wash my hands after touching it because, well, I need the key to get to...

Their store hours say they are open until 11 so figured it is fine. Around 10:30 I got a call from store the employee said “ I sold out all the chicken in the store, I don’t even have a single piece of chicken.” He also offered me a solution it’s funny to even think of what he said! “ I’ve a solution, you can come in tomorrow morning at 10:30 to collect your food.” the food that I wanted to eat at 10:30pm I was asked to collect it after like 12 hrs 😂😂 After that I went to the 272 saint peters road location store where I’ve received really good customer service! The employees were very chill and very nice to us! They were very welcoming and helped us through the entire time! They gave us our food and was such nice people! Took my order as everyone else's food came out, 6 people behind me got their food before my single box. When I asked the first time she said it was on its way, asked again later and she said it was already served but obviously not to me. I got my food after all my co-workers had already finished eating. My chicken was cold and side was wrong, she gave me an extra coleslaw to make up for it although I didn't even want coleslaw in my original order.
