Had mixed experiences here, but ultimately the owner had the final say, and is pro-discrimination. They will no longer serve me coffee. Very disappointed and will not be going here again. They were sweet about it, but that does not make it ok. (Reply follows) My apologies - I was paraphrasing. I went in without a mask and was refused service by an employee. I stated I had come in before no problem, even when the owner was around. I also pointed out there was other customers sitting without masks and an employee in the back without a mask. The employee got the owner - I'm sorry I forgot your name, you had introduced yourself to me before - and you informed me you were following public health. You even gave me the number for public health to call. You then gave me my coffee free of charge, which was very nice of you, but then informed me I would not be served if I didn't wear a mask. I am certain it was you I was speaking to because you had offered my girlfriend a job making chocolates there before. I suppose I technically wasn't refused service, I was just told I wouldn't get it in the future. If your position has changed, I will gladly put this behind me and continue to support your business, as I do really like...

I was looking for somewhere with coffee and baked goods, as many bakeries were closed nearby on a Sunday. Luckily, Williamsford Pie Company was open and we were warmly welcomed by the owner.
His friendly demeanour was refreshing and such a delight to come across! He assisted us with picking one of their many delicious sounding pies to bring home, and even let us try their Lemon Raspberry Buttermilk Pie (which I highly recommend) before making a decision. They also have a few tables where we were able to sit and have our lattes and pizza pastries, which he warmed up for us.
Whether you are looking for something sweet or savoury, this bakery is worth the drive.
1000/10 service!!
We will be coming back; everything was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have mixed feelings about the location of this bakery. It's very far from where I live. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing? The 2 treats I had today were very good and there is plenty more I'd like to try. Confetti squares, cheesecakes, muffins, tarts... They also have sandwiches and pizza! Today I went with an apple fritter and a Nanaimo bar. The fritter was fresh with a sticky glaze, a couple tender apple chunks and heavy on the cinnamon. The Nanaimo bar was big enough to share (but I didn't) It was delicious. The snap of the ganache atop the smooth custard buttercream layered on the base of coconut, walnut (I'm assuming) coco and graham was just what I needed. I am looking forward to returning. I am in the area every 2 weeks, so I'll plan...
