Stood in line behind what I thought was a customer but it turned out to just be a lady friend of the three (three!) girls working behind the counter. None of them were in a rush to serve me and just kept chatting with their friend for a while longer. Finally it was my turn and asked for an iced coffee. Was stared at briefly as though I had asked them to design a heating system for a floating city. Had a long vehicle to park in this adjoining gas bar Petrocan, which was fairly busy and not overl¹y large amount of parking. Upon entering the store I determinedl that the staff were really keen to be there. Employer must be good to the faithful staff because they were all in turn gave me positive individual attention. Saw the sign for Robin's Donuts and as a Winnipegger, I got excited. So when we drove back I had to stop in and get a coffee. And boy do they have options. From hot drinks to iced drinks, the choices are all over. Then you have the donuts and sandwiches. This is a great stop that I will go back to again while in town.
