Little Mountain Sushi — Restaurant in Chilliwack

First timers. Decided to give it a shot instead of our usual spot Maru Sushi. Lots of parking which is great! Upon walking in we were greeted immediately - another plus. Really cool Harry Potter stuff and seasonal decor which I'll admit confused me, but I liked it.

We were seated quickly, had our beers fast and order taken. Once the food came however, that's when the service ended. GONE. Never to be seen again.

We weren't asked how everything was. We weren't asked if we wanted another beer despite long time empty glasses. Answer would have been yes, so an opportunity to make more money was lost. It didn't appear understaffed at all, we just became invisible for reasons I don't understand.

The food was excellent- totally. I had tofu teriyaki and miso soup. My guy had beef yakisoba and a spicy tuna roll. Excellent.

But spending our hard earned money dining out deserves more than great food. If we're ignored and never glanced at once food delivered, I have no reason to come again. Eating out is an experience. My girlfriend and I drove past this, and then circled back, and we were so glad we did. We both absolutely ADORED this place. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They let us try a couple of different things, all of which were extremely good. They made a tiny mistake on one of the dishes (that we didn't even notice) but they caught after they put it down. They let us have it, and even though we asked them not to, they still remade it! Every dish we had was delicious, tried a few of the different special rolls, but by far our favorite was the crazy girl roll. The presentation was amazing, done in the shape of a flower, and didn't disappoint in flavor either. All the dishes were sauced perfectly, but the unagi was to die for. Perfectly torched, and a delicious bbq sauce. This place is a little out of the way, but well worth it. Definitely our new goto sushi place in Chilliwack. Not a complaint in any way, but the miso is a bit darker? Almost like a dark miso?...

Hubby wanted to try something new for sushi, and I am so glad we did! This well definitely be our new sushi place. Everything was so tasty, and so fresh. Definitely some of the freshest sashimi I have tried; and the spicy sauce they provided (asked for Spicy sashimi) was probably the best combination! My step daughter who is picky also loved her order, and they took extra precaution and care with packaging her order (she has a shrimp/prawn allergy) and she said she could eat this all day, ever day! My husband, who is rarely impressed loved everything.
