I’m not a review writer by any means, so this is unusual for me, however I felt inclined to. I’ve never been to the restaurant in person so I can’t speak to service etc, only done take out so I can’t speak to anything but the food and price. I do have to say that we probably won’t be ordering from here again. The sushi is decent, better than I could make myself so I won’t complain about that, however, the size of the roles are very small for the price. I’m basing this off the other sushi places in Chilliwack we often order from. Our order was $75, the spicy tuna rolls are about 3/4 the size of all other places, but the same price. I ordered a beef roll, which is 10 bucks, and considered a large roll, and I’ve attached a photo of the size of the pieces. 6 pieces this size for 10 bucks. I ordered this roll from others and given it’s a beef roll you usually get some bang for your buck. But this order was shockingly small. Ordered for 4 and pretty sure the total amount of food was about what I would order for myself. We’ve had this with them a few times and we’ve tried them a few times to give them another chance, but I honestly feel like I just gave my money away. If the rolls were outrageously good, I would understand the price for the size, but given the sushi is pretty average, and I would hope to get some more for my money. Again, I have no skin in the game, but when you compare the size of the rolls and quality to Gon Sushi, it’s apples to oranges. That being said, if other restaurants can give you at least some bang for your buck, I would think these guys can too. Alright, that’s all, just figured I’d give others some input should they be looking for some info.

Fun, and family friendly. Too bad there is no more All you can eat option. That used to be a huge highlight! The prices are higher than other sushi restaurants in Chilliwack. The Sashimi portions were some of the largest I've ever seen. If you like raw fish, one order of Sashimi will probably be a full meal. The view from promontory was also nice, overlooking parts of Chilliwack.

This shushi place has been around for a while. It is the only shushi restaurant in Promontory. The food is tasty and we'll presented. The rice is a little loose and could be maybe rolled a little tighter. The rolls are prone to falling apart. The decor is nice but a little worn. What really saves this place is the pleasant and engaging staff. It's a busy place and they coped well.

This is a review based on recent and old experiences over the last 3-4 years.

Much better for a group of 3+.

Sushiwa is a beautifully placed sushi restaurant in the promontory area of Sardis. Best times to go is when it's bright and sunny outside and sitting next to those grandiose windows which allows you to see the beautiful landscape and mountains of the lower mainland.

Whilst It is most commonly known as the "all-you-can-eat" sushi of Chilliwack there is much more to it than that. The all-you-can-eat is good, fast and tasty, now it goes without saying that it isn't perfect and depending on the state of the restaurant it might be super slow. If you want to opt out of all-you-can-eat and go for the traditional menu, definitely give the soups a try.

Service is quite varied. I've had it pretty good and pretty bad. Went with a party of 13, unannounced, no reservation and service was top notch. Went with 2 friends and we were there forever waiting on our first order.

Over the last year or 2, service has improved greatly in my opinion and food as well. Hope you like Korean Pop because the speakers blast it all day, which I personally found awesome but can be a bit much if you're trying to have a conversation.

Traditional Menu Prices are $$ Which is average, sushi isn't cheap in the lower mainland.

All-you-can-eat ( Prices with tax & 15% tip ) Lunch A 20$ No Sashimi Lunch B 25$ Premium A 29$ No Sashimi Premium B 34$

Nice place, great food and good times. Give it a shot,...

I'll start off with the good. The food itself was delicious! And it was large portions so it was worth the price À La Carte. 👍 The decoration was nice and everything was clean.

I'm dropping a star because I was in a group which made things very complicated because of the long list of rules. 1.If someone at the table chooses All-You-Can-Eat then EVERYONE has to pick it as well. There's different "levels" of All-You-Can-Eat at different prices You can only order 8 items at once. .. 5.. If you don't eat everything you have to pay 1$ per piece but you can't take it to go after you paid for it.. 7.. 54.. Etc..

The waitress was kind but not so good at being a waitress. She didn't give us any water until twenty minutes in after we deciphered the menu and finally ordered something. I don't think she ever asked us how out meal was going either.

The plastic glasses they gave us were cheap and so worn they became opaque. Although the plates did look nice. Probably the cheapest napkins and chopsticks on the market.

Conclusion: great tasting food and quantity but poor service and...
