I absolutely loved having my wedding here. I love the rustic feel of the reception and ceremony areas. When i was looking around for venues i was trying to find a place with as much included as possible to make my day go by as easily and smoothly as possible. They have so many different package options that will work for so many people and whatever they are looking for. A few things that i fell in love with and made me choose this venue for my wedding was the fact that they did all the set up and tear down of the initial decorations for the ceremony and reception If you wanted to bring in other stuff, whatever YOU bring in YOU have to set up and take down yourself. They also provided the bar and bartender which you can choose however you want the bar to be Ex: Toonie bar, cash bar etc, and they also did the food; which they have SOOO many packages of food to choose from too. The package i chose included Karlene as my day of coordinator, but i have to say she goes above and beyond and was so much help before the wedding, and the day of, she has such a good attitude and i so much fun! she was dancing with the guests and having a grand ol time along with the banquet coordinator who is also a blast and very dedicated to her job, i unfortunately cannot remember her name. While the guest were enjoying cocktail hour we had Brian take myself, my husband, our wedding party and photographers out on the golf course for photos and what a blast that was as well! Overall my experience with Karlene, her crew and the Wedding sites was absolutely wonderful and i could not have had a better day all thanks to her, her crew, the chef and kitchen staff for such amazing food, all my guests were complimenting on the food. There was such great views and good spots for the photos. Mind you We had our wedding here this April so other season would be absolutely breathtaking...

What can I say that five stars doesn’t already. We really enjoyed having our wedding here. The brand new pavilion is great looking and very much suited for any wedding. They use a wedding layout tool that allows you to play around with the space so you can make it your own. Karlene the wedding coordinator really did a fantastic job she made it super easy to decide on the venue. Karlene has a fantastic staff too, they helped so much on the day of and during the setup the night before. We did have a little back up on the food but I think that was more that my family eats like it’s their last meal for every meal. And the meal! Holy moly! So good, the Chef they have at The Falls is spectacular. The chicken was moist and tender the steak was cook to perfection, I’ll never understand how he made 50+ steaks and none of them were under or over cooked! Don’t get me started on the mushroom ravioli, mouth watering, I had friends that hate mushrooms and they ate it up fast. Over all we would definitely recommend it to other couples that are looking to tie the knot. The pavilion is customizable, the ceremony site has beautiful views and a beautiful arc with greener. We have to say the biggest fact for our decision was indeed Karlene, she was fantastic. She really made the day easier and we could thank her enough.

  • I recently golf at the course and it was really fun and challenging, the greens are fast unless there wet, the fairways are narrow and there are quite a few hazards, there course has a lot of work being done on it at the moment, looks like their investing quite a bit of time and money into it, looking forward to seeing it when it’s done. I hope they address the T boxes they’re terrible and the cart way needs to be finished. Other than that great views and spectacular service at...

I've played this course well over 30 times over the years and have always wanted to come back. However I will never play there again due to the rude response from the staff over a very simple issue that happened. I booked a 4some to golf on a Saturday. Throughout the week there were extensive wildfires causing extreme air quality warnings so I decided to cancel the round with 3 days notice. When booking at the falls, instead of giving your credit card information then paying once you get to the course, they immediately charge your card so I paid for the group. Upon canceling I was told I would be reimbursed and it would take 3 to 5 business days. I got the refund and it was 11.46 short of the green fees so I gave the pro shop a call. I was told there's a repayment fee charged by the credit card company and there's nothing they can do, have a nice day. So I called my credit card company and they looked into the matter and assured me it was the merchant that charged the fee. So again I call the pro shop and ask to speak to the gentleman who I spoke with before, and asked why he's telling me that it was the credit card company that charged me when it was the falls. He denied saying that and told me there's nothing he can do take it up with the general manager if you want. So I get the GMs email and have sent a email and have got no response in over a week. I even tried calling and was told he's not in. To charge a repeat customer a fee for canceling with 3 days notice due to wildfires is absolutely ridiculous and what's even more ridiculous is losing a customer over 11 dollars...

To be fair, played early in the year after a long winter. But, the course conditions were very poor. Where to begin? Most of the sand traps were filled with rocks, exposed drainage pipes and very little sand. They were also ringed with weeds (dandelions). The fairways weren't bad but the first cut of rough were covered in weeds. I have to admit this is the first time I've played on a course with so many weeds. In addition the fairways had numerous areas under repair - exposed pipes, huge gashes of earth and rocks. The greens were pockmarked from ball mark damage. There were a few instances where putts took a huge bounce or hard turn after hitting a rut. The course layout is interesting - holes 1 - 14 or so are a mountain course - elevation changes, fairways sloping down hill and tree-lined. 15-18 are a simple loop back and forth, flat with minimal trees. Almost as if they were added as an afterthought. The signature hole is the par 5, 11th. This hole has a huge drop from the tee box. Nice views of the valley from the tee box. Overall, I would be hard pressed to return to play. Things would need to get a lot better. For example - a small detail, but no ball washing posts at any holes. Hard to believe the Aquilini's put their name on this course. It looks like they've spent the money on developing the homes around the course. Hopefully, there will be significant investments in the course in the near future. But, until then I'll stay closer to the city.
