Is it possible to give negative 5 stars?! Boycotted this place! The family hasn’t been here in years as the last time we went Victor Tim (owner) yelled at my sister and I. Parents and uncle were dining so we went in to drop off the cabin keys. Victor yelled at us thinking we just waltzed in not waiting to be seated. We were literally in and out dropping off keys and told him so- he then walked away without any apology over his misunderstanding. Decided to try these guys out. This is during Covid so their salad and soup bar is unavailable. We were not disappointed in the least. Had the special which consisted of cordon bleu chicken without the breading. It came with cream of broccoli soup and a bun. Salad and of course the zucchini chocolate chip cake and ice cream. Everything was fantastic and I couldn't put my fork down. The homemade ice tea is super sweet and very refreshing. The atmosphere was very comfortable and warm feeling. The food here was amazing. We were visiting the park and made a special trip into town for lunch and it was worth the half hour drive. The service was great and the atmosphere was very cottage-y. I had the special which was a chicken Cesar wrap and the chicken was light breaded to perfection. The fries were a crinkle cut but done up nice and crispy. I had a really good time and it fuelled me up for some more hiking. And the ice tea...
