Longbranch Steakhouse — Restaurant in City of Lloydminster

I ordered a filet 6oz with baked potatoes and mushrooms as my two sides. Asked for potato fixings on the side. The potato tasted of smoke!! Not what I was expecting. The sour cream was forgotten until the end of the meal. The steak was definitely not AAA I asked for medium rare ( could be more on the rare side but was medium rare on the very middle but well done on the outside (don’t even know how that was achieved!!! Also smelled and tasted of smoke but not seasonings at all. There was some sort of fat rubbery skin around the steak which I pealed off (gross)!!! I asked for garlic toast and it was done on a dirty greasy grill. Couldn’t eat it. Only ate the potato and left the steak. Not even worth taking home. If I can’t accomplish eating a 6oz steak —- because it’s not much food and not delicious enough to even want me to continue to eat. I asked for tea and waitresses didn’t come back till it was cold. That’s when I got my sweetener. The whole thing was an experience I won’t soon forget. Will never stop or recommend ever!!! Worst I ever had. Or excuse me tastes and left behind. The meal cost me $46.70 and I left a $5 tip. Ended up costing me $51.70 for a meal I could not eat!!! If it were possible I would have given...

I wish people would understand they need to tip their servers !!! I was in recently and I watched a young lady run her butt off to cater to a large table, these individuals were being extremely needy and demanding, she paid very close attention to them while also serving multiple other tables. At the end they told her the service and food was amazing. But they “can’t afford” to tip her. I’m guessing their bill was close to $300. You realize that she just had to pay to serve you??? These ladies have to tip out their kitchen on all food sales ! If you can afford a 300$ bill you can afford a tip!! Most kitchen tips are 5% of food. So if you tip your server less then 10% she doesn’t even get half!!!! Come on people! Tips are a part of servers wages!! They make minimum wage to run their butts off for you! They shouldn’t have to pay out of pocket to serve you!!! They work hard to cater to your needs! My service was wonderful even tho she had at least 5 or 6 other tables !! They do...

This is my first time coming to this restaurant. At first i was a little skeptical because of the few bad reviews and empty restaurant. But was pleasantly surprised with the greeting we received. Both the waitresses (megan and lisa)were very nice and answered all 50 of my kids questions lol. What can i say about the food other then it was amazing. My son, who is autistic, has a hard time eating at new places. He devoured his pizza and cucumbers. Definately a first for him. Me and the wife had spinach dip to start which was great.
