While I'm not a "regular" at Doyle's, I have been in at least a dozen various times since before the pandemic. I do understand that it is now under new management with new staff, so I will leave out a certain previous issues that led to me not wanting to return or recommend. I did see on social media that they had a new owner and new staff so wanted to try them again. Myself and a party of 3 recently attended their comedy night (please turn the karaoke machine off or down during events!) and we were all disappointed with our food (undercooked and over-seasoned frozen fries, frozen burger patties that have an awful texture and also over-seasoned with a burnt grill taste on top, my friends beef dip arrived cold, plus we had to send back several of our drinks) I'm typically not one to complain but did mention to the server that I "missed the home cut fries", he responded with, "Have you ever worked in a bar before?" (I have, actually, and can appreciate where everyone is coming from but I was just kindly relaying my feedback) ... Last week, I decided to walk over to try their "Taco Tuesday" deal advertised. Had a good experience and my server Amanda was lovely. I went again for Taco Tuesday last night, ordered 2 chicken tacos with "no tomatoes". Waited a significant amount of time for my food considering the bar was empty, turns out my server sent the food back as it wasn't made right the first time (Thank you, Amanda) however, when I ordered a second round of "beef tacos with no tomatoes", I was sent out cold chicken tacos with little to no meat and loaded with tomatoes. After sending them back, my beef tacos were warm and yummy. I debated on sending an email versus making a public review but don't feel like our concerns were taken seriously due to us "not being regulars" as this was mentioned and felt insinuated when we were there for...

Read moreWe recently had the opportunity to hold a large after-work gathering at Doyle’s, and we were all thoroughly impressed. What started as a reservation for 30 grew to 40 and ended up with 56 guests! Doyle’s staff sectioned off an entire half of the establishment to accommodate us, and when our numbers grew higher than anticipated, they quickly brought over more tables.
As far as I know, every order was correct, and everyone was attended to in a prompt and efficient manner. I personally appreciated their gluten-free options, including a dedicated fryer. It’s not often I get to enjoy pub food, and it was amazing!
Everyone at Doyle’s was helpful and extremely personable. Joe, the manager (or owner?), came out to lend a hand with the tables and check in on us, all while cooking much of the food himself.
The atmosphere was wonderful, and the giant mural of musical acts is incredible—definitely worth the visit just to see it. The establishment was clean and well-maintained, including the bathrooms.
Our outing took place on a Friday night, which happened to be their regular Karaoke Night. We were given plenty of opportunities to sing, alongside the pub’s regulars. There are also VLT machines (I didn’t win, but a few of us did!) and two pool tables that kept us entertained.
It was an amazing evening, and we are already planning more outings in the future. Doyle’s will definitely be a go-to...
