Calderwood House — Restaurant in Clarington

My mother and I enjoyed Royal High Tea with hosts Diana and Graham on Sunday.  We have been to may high teas and when I say this experience was like no other I mean this in the best way possible.  Not only was my mother able to connect with a classmate from over 50 years ago (a total surprise) but she got to spend the afternoon with her daughter doing one of the things she loves most.  The high tea experience was perfect from the booking to the event itself - Diana and Graham were the perfect hosts that created a very intimate, unique, personalized and fun experience.  The attention to detail in the food and to each person at the party was phenomenal - I cant believe they knew who I was and remembered my booking requests soon as I walked in the door of they're beautiful home.  The food was to die for and and the photoshoot was a great fun benefit. We will definitely be back for tea in the near future. I know my mom is talking about bringing friends...

Starting the High Tea with choosing beautiful fancy hats for everyone, your lovely tables set to perfection, welcoming us to sit down and start enjoying ourselves. Your lovely sense of humour, your love for what you do, was noticeable through every move and word. We savoured every bite of all your homemade delicacies and the delicious teas. The photo session after our High Tea was a fun surprise and an absolute delight! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for spoiling us and every other guest.
