Starting with food, was salty for our taste and pallet and bit too spicy for our liking. Nothing wrong with being spicy but you could feel that the spices were not mixed properly.

Service was really bad. I don’t expect five star service from a hole in the wall kind of joint like this, but I’d expect them to be pleasant at the least. Conversation went like this, Are you Angie? I’m Alexandria and my niece is ANGELA with a slight annoyance in the tone of response. No smile on the face and on the contrary annoyance all over the face and a look that suggests they are doing us a favour. Did this come from a place of prejudice? Not sure so going to give the benefit of doubt and not going to think about this any further, but wish they were pleasant to all and any who walked in to their joint and who are pleasant themselves. The whole experience would have made up for lack of taste and quality in food. Ridiculously good food!! Try everything and don't be surprised if you wake up every day intensely craving more. Can't say enough about the jerk chicken... and don't even get me started on the roti. As locals, we've been coming here for 10 years and somehow it's gotten even better over time. If you love fresh, home cooked, REAL and authentic food, you will not be disappointed with Angies!! My best friend enjoyed her first "Angie's experience" yesterday and was blown away because, even though chemotherapy has (hopefully temporarily) ruined her taste buds, she was able to really appreciate the perfect balance of spice and flavour. It was my first time trying Jamaican food and I had the jerk chicken and jerk pork meals. I only have good things to say about them.

They were super super yummy. Just a little spicy and so savory. The large portion is more than enough for a person, I got full and even had some leftover. So order small if it's just for you and you don't wanna get stuffed. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and the amazing taste. We had to wait only 10 minutes for it to be prepared.
