Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Colwood

Our order was placed at around 523pm. Online message showed Krista began preparing the order at 524pm. We went to pick it up after around 25 minutes. On arrival we were asked for our order details and we were told our order will be ready in 15 minutes. Understanding the dinner rush hour conditions, we went to another establishment. We came back after 15 minutes as told. Surprise! Our order has not been prepared yet. The order was timed ready at 6:27 pm. The cashier appears not to know what he's doing and was just watching other staff as they work. On payment I handed over a $100 cash and was asked for a smaller bill. There's a question of hygiene as well when the cashier didn't even bother washing his hands after handling cash. He was not able to give me change. Pretty standard Domino’s fare. The only issue is their baking times are extremely off. Ordering on evenings and weekends I’ve never had a ‘ready by’ time when purchasing from the app over 25 minutes, but pizza is rarely finished in under an hour.

It’s normal to walk in and have their ‘time to’ board read 10 minutes for 30-45 minutes.

edit: I exaggerated my waiting time for today. I arrived at the restaurant 14 minutes after ordering online with 10 minutes to go according to their timing board. I walked out 32 minutes later. The board had me as 10 minutes until ready for only 22 minutes. Once it went to 9 it became accurate. This is the third time in a row I’ve had a similar ordering and receiving process.

As you can see, it didn't even make it out if the parking lot. The rest was on the 5 min drive home.This is the best Domino's. I just found out they bring the dough to room temp before making the, oh so delicious, zaa's. The staff is friendly and the food is a amazing. This location will renew or start your confidence in Dominos. I mean maybe The Noid works there too, who remembers The Noid, haha Only thing wrong is I can't order delivery through the app, I can over the phone though.
