Small, semi upscale restaurant situated on the main road of downtown Dégelis, just a few minutes off of the provincial highway.

Situated on the corner of a 4-way intersection, the building would be easy to miss if it wasn't for its large sign. Due to it being on a corner lot, the parking is a bit awkward but managable.

There are stairs and a wheelchair ramp leading to the front door. Upon entry into the building, you step foot in a spacious vestibule, which then brings you to another door to enter the actual restaurant.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was a bit taken aback by the classy decor. The restaurant is adorned with high-end light fixtures, leather stitched seats, and crown molding. The decor and lighting gave the environment a very warm, relaxing, and welcoming ambiance. Additionally, everything was clean and looked well maintained.

Unfortunately for us, we went there at peak time on a saturday evening. As such, there was no seating available. The restaurant was clearly very occupied, so we opted to order carryaway instead.

Throughout our brief time there, the server was very kind, respectful, humorous, and helpful. She made various paring suggestions for our poutines. Despite being very busy, she made a concerted effort to attend to guests eating in, those ordering out, and those waiting for a table. The excellent service was definitely a highlight.

As for the food. The poutine wasn't really anything monumentally special for a 'quebec' style poutine. While the fries were definitely hand cut, they weren't exceptionally crispy, nor were they soggy. Disappointingly enough, the gravy was questionably the worst feature, with it tasting like the store bought kind instead of being made in-house. The cheese was as expected, in curd form, and slightly squeaky.

The BLT I ordered was great, with the bread toasted to a perfect crisp and a good ratio of bacon, tomato, and lettuce.

The menu had quite a diversity of items, and I look forward to visiting this place again in the...

Polite, accommodating, and responsive server, and a pretty clean spot. For what was ordered and the small amount of clients in the restaurant, food came out super slow.

Food quality was poor. The fries that came with my kid’s hotdog combo were good. Otherwise, food was overpriced for both quantity and quality of food. The hotdog looked old, dried out, and was tiny. Both adults had the large Caesar salad - one with and the other without chicken, at $20 and $25 each, respectively. I was told the salads were “really pretty large” - well, the plate was, but the portion was not. Salad greens, croutons, bacon bits were all poor quality. Salad dressing, light.

This could be a fluke - we were just passing through. But I don’t normally pay $76 for a poor quality, unfilling family meal with slow service just off of...

My wife and I stopped in last night. It was a couple of minutes from the highway, but absolutely glad we went. This small restaurant was a great find and no doubt a favorite of locals. My wife had French Onion Soup and 1/2 size poutine. The soup was packed with onions, had a nice thick browned cheese on top, and was delicious. The poutine was a great size to accompany any meal and of course served with curd cheese. I had General Tao Chicken. This was also delicious and filling as it was served on top of a bed of rice. The restaurant was very clean and service was great. If we are looking for a spot while traveling through this area again, we'll definitely be...

We were there on a Sunday night at 5:30 and the place was packed with mostly older people. Food was decent, simple fare. We ordered a Caesar salad and a medium pizza, lemon pie, chocolate cake, coffee, tea, two cokes, two beers. Bill came to $78, which seemed reasonable. Pizza was decent, salad was okay. I'm calling it lemone pie and not lemon meringue, because it was topped with fake whip cream. Wait staff were very friendly. Seems to be where all the locals go. There were several large parties of families there. It's not gourmet food, but hey, it's small town eating and it does the job.
