Pizza Time — Restaurant in Dartmouth

Never again. Never again will I waste my hard earned money on this place. Camille, oh how we miss you! This place has changed hands. It used to be great! The food was always good and it was ready when they said it would be. It is not worth a visit now. They are very friendly, though, otherwise I would have given them a score of 1. I have eaten take out there twice since it changed hands and have been very disappointed both times. The food took a LOT longer than they said it would. The first time, when we showed up to pick it up, when they said it would be ready, we had to wait for 15 minutes because part of our order hadn't even been cooked yet! The second time we showed up, when they said it would be ready, and again, had to wait for 15 minutes. (Total of 40 min after ordering). We ended up with under cooked fried chicken and floppy fries, just barely past frozen, and a mediocre overcooked pizza. Both times. We are done with Pizza Time. We'd rather have peanut butter and jam sandwiches for supper than spend anymore...

This is decent pizza, but the service is ridiculous. I ordered on a Wednesday and was told it would be an hour, 1h15m, tops.

I called at an hour and a half to see what the hold up was. The woman on the phone acted like I was unreasonable, told me it was on the way. 15 minutes later still no food so I call back. She tells me she sent it out the door 10 minutes ago.

I asked her to just give me a straight answer, as I have hungry kids waiting, and point out she told me it was on the way 15 minutes ago and now she says it left 10 minutes ago. She then tells me I am being rude.

2h20 minutes later it finally arrives, cold. This is annoying due to lack of accountability, not the wait time. I get that things go sideways, but just communicate that. Call a person and say hey, we got busy and it's going to be late, it's understandable. Don't lie and then act like it is unreasonable to be frustrated by waiting 2.5 hours for pizza on a Wednesday.
