First time trying this restaurant. Not too bad. Portions are quite large. We got the flight of dips.. the taramosalata and tirokafteri were perfect. Hummus was ok. Large bowls of each with lots of pita. Too much for only 2 of us, even though we are big eaters. Got the original platter for 2. Also huge. Calamari was nice and tender, rice and potatoes were quite good. Chicken souvlaki was breast meat and thus a little dry but taste was quite good. Hubby said lamb was good. The only disappointments were the Greek salad since they use red wine vinegar in the dressing (not traditional) but quite a good amount and lots of tomatoes included. They did not cheap out. I’ll just ask for plain evoo with oregano, s&p next time. However, their spanakopita is rather bland. It tasted like it was 100% spinach.. no herbs, no onion, and no feta. It was well made & crispy but rather bland.
They were very busy and we didn’t have a rezzie but they got us seated and offered free dessert for the wait which was a nice touch. We will be back I’m sure. We’ll be more selective w the menu choices but a good first visit. Bravo...

There was a saltiness to the meat, but it only enhanced the flavour rather than another it. The potatoes were infused with some sort of lemony zest, while topped with some sort of mustard that wasn't overpowering, still allowing for the potato to be enjoyed, rather than covering it up completely. And the rice wasn't a filler, but rather something I couldn't bear to miss a single grain, devouring the entire platter. Oh yeah, did I mention the salad? The sour and the freshness of the olive oil was so refreshing, balancing the flavours from the savoury bits.
The portions were sizeable. Thank goodness I forgot to eat lunch that day. The service was limited, as it's a small mom and pop type of shop. But the place was full on a Tuesday night, along with take out in what looked like a 2 person operation. And even then, the food didn't take long to come out.
So thoroughly impressed by this hidden gem in Delta! The pictures are nice, but they don't do justice to what is happening on...
Read moreCame in (first time) for dinner last night. Place is quaint and homey. Floors were a little slippery though, not sure if it's really that way. Anyway, the lone server was very soft-spoken and nice and kindly explained the menu for kids as we had our toddler with us. The lighting was a bit dimmer than I liked but they had these little oil tea lights on the table but server did not light it up because of our toddler which we appreciated.
The food took a while even though we were the only ones there. But it made up for the wait as the food was really good. The flavours were amazing. We had the roast lamb, chicken skaras, and kalamari which were perfect. The portions were huge and we still had one container full of leftover after dinner was over.
We used to go to this now-closed restaurant near our place and the flavours were a hit or miss as sometimes it's too salty or too bland. Greek Fellas had all the flavours right.
We really enjoyed our dinner last night and I hope this place gets more foot traffic because...
