I was on a motorcycle trip past this restaurant in August of 2018 and opted to stop here for lunch. They had a smoked meat poutine on the menu, and when in Quebec you really need to enjoy a good Quebecois poutine. It was well worth the wait, and arrived in a ceramic bowl heaped with smoked meat and covered in gravy, the cheese curds melting with the heat. The portion size was enough that with the drink I ordered, I wasn't sure it I was going to be able to finish it as a lunch meal.
I'd stop again and order the same, or sample something else off of their menu as I quite enjoyed...
   Read moreToday our van got stuck in the mud, on one of the hottest days of the year, and on a holiday no less. But our misfortune turned to delight when we found this beautiful gem. We were so lucky they were open! We had a salad of lettuces picked TODAy with a most delicious lemon dressing (and edible flowers!) We had a pork sandwich with bbq sauce that wasn't cloying and overly sweet. But best of all we were served by the warm and friendly Amlie, one of the owners.
