This bar/pub/restaurant is a shining oasis in a desert. Get in here for a pint of respite, it'll do you good. The service is outstanding and the food is on the mark. The pint of Guinness is darn good but they offer a good selection on tap and bottled beer. Nothing like a plate of fish & chips with a pint of Guinness finished with a shot of Jameson, this is the place for it. Allow me to re-emphasize the great service, it is in short supply these days.    Read moreMy favorite place to get a pint and some very, very tasty fish and chips. Light, crispy batter, generous portions, and the tartar sauce isn't too "dilly" (a pet peeve of mine). The gravy is fantastic. Even the breakfast is very well done.
It has a lot of Irish pub atmosphere, and on a Saturday night it'll get quite lively.
I knock one star off on the food only because I find their "on tap" choices to be very limited (and tend to skew towards mass market beers). They really know how to pour their Guinness, though - shamrock on top and all ;)

So it’s been a year since my review, so here’s an update. Didn’t think it was possible, but this place actually got better. They have daily specials that’s not on the menu, but are awesome.
