Really poor experience today. 3 customers in the restaurant, and I was the only customer at the counter. I ordered a BELT bagel, the cashier had not even heard of it. Asked for a coffee and hash brown to make it a meal. She didn't seem to know what that meant. Another staff member came over and explained 'she's new'. That is not my fault - someone brand new should not be on cash, alone. Who's fault was it for leaving a brand new employee on their own, on cash, to twist in the wind? I don't think you treat your new staff very well, not many brand new employees would thrive on guesswork. I'm sure given the amount of training your franchise offers, your turnover rate must be massive. Don't treat kids like that, for many this is their first job. You need to stand BESIDE new staff on their first day, for at least an hour or two, while they get the hang of it. Also it might help to run through prices with new kids, so they know that $17.75 is probably not a logical price for a breakfast sandwich. If I hadn't caught it, I'd be out almost $18. Luckily I did question it - the 'senior' staff member had wandered away. You need to value your customers better than that. Had come to your Tim Horton's every day for 2 years, that's the last time. Really bad management, letting brand new people guess their way through the job training. Your new staff members need a helping hand. The memories of confusion, anxiety and isolation caused by lazy management will last new staff members last a lifetime. You need to offer a training program. Pay new employees to at least learn the menu before day one. Even better, stand BESIDE them if they are on cash. This was inexcusable. Everybody lost. Especially the abandoned new employee. Owner has replied for me to fill in a form. Management is not my job - it's yours. Be proactive enough to find out what happened - and ask your trainer employee why she abandoned a brand new employee on cash. YOU NEED a standardized training program, because that is the action that prevents these occurence. It is not incumbent on me, the customer, to fill in more forms. As management, it is incumbent on you to ask questions and find out why this...
Read moreFirst one and start by saying I came through the drive-through at 9:35 this morning I ordered a sausage farmers wrap with extra chipotle that I paid for extra chipotle. The wrap is dry. Also ordered a large French vanilla with a caramel toffee flavour syrup the French vanilla is very watery doesn’t taste like what I normally get from other Tim Hortons. I went to hand The survey I completed for a dollar French vanilla, and the lady working the window asked if I had a screenshot to prove that I did the survey which is not required. I wrote down the number that was provided at the end of the survey and that wasn’t Good enough so she tried to call the manager over meanwhile I had to be to work for 10 AM and didn’t have time to sit there and argue. I want my order...
Read moreI usually go to this one on my way into work. Between 6:20 and 6:30 so I know it starts to get busy, so I went in. I had to explain multiple times that I wanted a bacon scrambled egg wrap and not the regular farmers wrap. Which fine whatever, I opened the wrap when I got to work and took a bite- it was a sausage wrap. I hate the sausage but fine, whatever, I ate it because I paid big dollars for it. I also got a Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte because I’m a pumpkin spice lover, it tastes fine but every-time I get an iced latte from this Tims it’s never full. I get you can only put so much liquid but at least put a few extra ice cubes to make it look somewhat full. Not overly happy with...
