Pat's Boardwok — Restaurant in Economy

Visited today for lunch, wanted to try their Chinese offerings, had ginger chicken with meat and vegetable egg rolls, kindest thing I can say is the chef/cook should consider closing for 3 months and apprenticing at Joe Chow's restaurant in New Glasgow, then reopen with good Chinese food offerings. What is being offered now would rate about a 3 out if 10 by anyone who actually appreciates good Canadian Chinese food. I'm guessing must be a seasonal thing but unfortunately for me and my gas tank your Google posting and your answering machine say you are open till 7pm Thursday Friday and Saturday. I got the combo #4 and enjoyed it. Beef in ginger sauce with veggies, fried rice and an egg roll. The ginger taste was pleasant, but no chunks of real ginger. All of my food was very hot and yummy. I ate it there at a picnic table with an umbrella. I brought my dog and they gave her a treat and a bowl of water too!
