I thought the food was bof (french for MID) Listen the service was nice and all, but the place did seem kind of sketch. But bruh if I'm being honest I can't be a judge of that. I was very hungry so I ordered a big meal. For an entree I decided to go with some chicken fingers. Simple right? Not really. The chicken fingers were more on the dry side, but the fries balanced it out cuz they were excellent. Next I orderd a large pizza ( half butter chicken, half meat lovers) an Indian dish ( the name of which I forget) and a burger. The large pizza was... How do I say this? It was interesting. It wasn't the worst but it could have been better. The Indian food was absolutely delicious. I was a big fan of their butter chicken, it made me feel a lot better about what I had eaten before. After that amazing, delicious meal I was very excited to try the burger, which was actually pretty good... Considering the price. Anyways after my main I decided to order desert which was a strawberry pie. Again, acceptable for what it was. But again, it is a diner and I was expecting a pretty decent pie, but that's life I guess. And lastly I orderd some large fries, because they are absolutely delicious and should be featured on their menu. Overall not a bad experience, would I come here again? Well you come and try and tell me yourself! Have a great...
Read moreI was very disappointed to hear that my grandfather was not able to use the gift certificate I purchased for him for Christmas as he was told there was not enough people in his party to spend the certificate. He was given a $25 card and told no when he went to pay for his breakfast with it.
The consumer protection act requires that all restrictions and conditions must be stated in clear and visible writing for the customer, which was not followed as there was NOTHING in the gift certificate stating that a certain amount of people needed to be there nor a minimum amount spent
Also, as per 181.2 - 4 of the ETA in regards to gift certificates:
"It does not require the bearer to do anything to redeem the certificate other than to present it as a means of payment or partial payment for the property or services being acquired. The holder of the certificate should not be required to meet other conditions, such as, making a purchase of a particular value (i.e., a required minimum value) or purchasing one item to exchange the gift certificate for another item (e.g., buy one, get one free) in order to redeem the certificate."
Please educate yourself on federal and provincial rules when it comes to running a business and...
Read moreYesterday we stopped by around 12:45 as we were wanting breakfast food, and we knew they had an all day breakfast menu. It was packed with people everywhere for the Eclipse. There was only 1 server working and she was serving every table, taking walk-ins, answering the phone, cashing people out, busing all the tables and running all food! Honestly, we were amazed at how well she handled the sheer volume all on her own. We asked if she was the only one and she said yes, they had no idea they’d be hit like that! Food was amazing, obviously the kitchen was keeping up as we didn’t wait long for our food. We certainly over tipped this server as she was truly what good customer service was all about. She did all of this, while still maintaining a smile!! Way to go! We...
