Joel, I don't know you and don't understand why you are complaining about the prices. They are the lowest in Brockville. When you go into the restaurant they greet you, tell you to have a seat and they bring you a menu. On that menu is where the prices are and a notice about the price change. So that is on you if you didn't read it. Some people don't drink coffee/tea and were paying for it where now they are not. We have been going there for years and love the people and the atmosphere of 'family' that you get from them. As for the debit machine, it is where they input your order, and then total it when you leave. If you wanted a receipt you should have asked them when you paid and before you left instead of coming on here and complaining about the prices when there is no merit for any of your accusations. Great people, great food, great prices and would highly recommend it...

Used to be a good spot but they changed their prices and stopped including coffee with their breakfast. This is what happened the other day. They brought debit machine to table but no bill. I was surprised as the bill was much higher than usual but paid it and left a tip. Started to my car decided to go back in and ask for my bill. They tried to say it was the new prices and coffee. Asked them to ring it in agai anyway. Even the changes they had still over charged me and could not explain what had happened. They refunded me I counted the miney and they short changed me. I vote with my wallet and my wallet won't be back. If you go here do yourself a favor and ask to see your bill. Very sad to see a family business...

Horrific experience at this rinky dink cafe that exclusively serves confusion and poor customer service. As I began to place my order, the woman behind the counter cut me off mid sentence to take the man behind me’s order. This was confusing and rude. I was told that I could not have any of the items I had ordered because it was already “close to noon.” I felt very confused by this. Upon ordering alternate items, I was told that those were also unavailable because “she had to deal with the lunch time.” Don’t waste...
