Exceptional service, food was slightly okay.
There are no vegan or vegetarian options on menu so I opted for nachos but was told nachos only came with bacon, meat and peppers. When I asked if they could only put veggies on it, server asked me some vegetables I liked, I suggested tomato and onion along with the peppers which they were able to do. They even made a suggestion of lettuce which I appreciated very much.
When served my nachos, server asked me if my nachos looked okay before eating. I thought that was very kind.
Though the nachos appearance was bland, the nachos tasted pretty good! The peppers especially gave them a nice taste and the cheese was perfect. The salsa that it came with was okay and sour cream was good. I also tasted my brother's poutine which he ordered. The fries weren't fresh tasting and the gravy was near tasteless and salty. I also tasted his orange creamsicle smoothie which was not a smoothie but a milkshake or more so an orange creamsicle float which consisted of hard vanilla ice cream. The beverage was good but not my personal liking but it was good especially if you like an old fashioned style taste.
The restaurant itself was beautiful! Clean, spacious, decorated lovely, plenty of seating indoor and had an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean and landscape of Ferryland. They played music that was easy to listen to at a comfortable level.
The restaurant sold a few local crafts, mainly welcome signs which were lovely.
The service was fabulous! Very...
Read moreTake a moment to read this: Driving through the Irish Loop with the family, the four of us were excited to stop at the Million Dollar View Restaurant with decent reviews from Google. The views were indeed stunning, and we were pleasantly greeted by staff. The interior was okay. We ordered shrimp, calamari, scallops, the kitchen sink, chicken wings, and a burger. We awaited with excitement with stomachs rumbling. The shrimp and scallops were deep fried and came in a concession basket reminiscent of an old hockey rink. The calamari was deep fried. The entire contents of the kitchen sink were deep fried. The chicken wings were breaded and deep fried. Thankfully, the burger was not deep fried. We attempted to eat, but the million dollar view was overshadowed by the grease and we could eat hardly any of it. We left the majority of food on the table and asked for the bill. The amount of the bill symbolized a decent meal, which it was not. We departed the restaurant, took one last look at the million dollar view, and sped away, still hungry. Unless you like spending $177 on deep fried food, choose another restaurant with, sadly, a...
Read moreThis restaurant is my favorite on the Southern Shore. I can't get enough of it.
The atmosphere is great, it feels very open and relaxed on the inside, with a gorgeous view that's definitely worth a million dollars. Overlooking the breathtaking landscape of Ferryland, it really is something you have to experience with your own eyes.
The service was amazing, our waitress was kind and attentive.
The food here is to die for, let me start with that. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, from the fried seafood, to the garlic bread, to the seafood chowder. No matter what you order, you know you're getting a good meal. I got the seafood platter during my most recent visit. It came with a good portion of fries three scallops, three shrimp, and a piece of fried fish. All the food was cooked beautifully. The food also has so much flavour for what it is. I've also heard the burgers are so tender that they melt in your mouth 👀 I'll have to try one some day.
I really recommend coming here if you're in the area, I and many of my friends have nothing but good things to say about this...
