Countryside Restaurant — Restaurant in Florenceville-Bristol

Just wanted to say, that I stopped by the Inn, and wanted to have a drink and bite to eat. The food was absolutely wonderful. I had the Daal Tardka. I'm from Ontario and there's an Indian restaurant on every block. And I have to say that your Daal with a bit of Indian spice, was absolutely delicious. I am told the fish and chips is also very good.

To any readers, don't be confused this is not an Indian restaurant. They have many other tasty bar foods. I just wanted to say how authentic it tasted.

I forget the server's name but she was very friendly and personable as well.

Got take out ,was very disappointed with the containers. Homade chowder lids,and lamb container lid, came off spilling over half on the seat of my truck. Lids just don't fit tight,need to find better containers. I found the samosas was a bit pricey in my opinion but great taste. Loved the chowder that I was able to save,and will definitely get it again. The lamb was fantastic also. All in all will be trying different item from time to time,and will be checking the lids lol. I hope the home made chowder stays on the menu ,as I have never tasted any others that even came close to...

We visited for the first time and enjoyed dinner. Party of 5. All entrees came out at the same time. Servers very attentive and pleasant. Butter chicken was excellent and a very large portion. Tuesday was Taco night at $4.25 each. Chicken one was loaded with meat and the fish had a very generous piece of fish in each. All other entrees were good as well.
