I've traveled all over North America as a truck driver. It's very nice to find a truck stop with something different in it for a restaurant. It's always fast food and Chain restaurants. I was hesitant at first to try it but came to Google to see all these 5 star reviews so figured it must be good. I ate the stir fry in the restaurant and it was absolutely amazing. I'd like to try everything on the menu someday. Food was fresh, obviously made to order and not just ready and warmed up. Worth the wait for sure. Naan bread some of the best I've ever had. If I had to find one small thing to complain about it would be the paper straw that came with the drink. But we can blame Trudeau for that not this fine restaurant. I dont use paper straws and it was ok to drink out of the can. Not an issue. Also the owner I think actually served me and he is such a nice individual. Had a great conversation about his journey to be where he is today. I wish him nothing but the best success in life and business. He works very hard to please his customers and you should really try this restaurant it's very good and you are supporting a small business that appreciates your support. I'm pretty sure I will never be able to drive past this place without stopping in for a meal and likely a take out order to go so I have a good next meal as well. Thanks very much for having such an...
Read moreMaybe I misunderstood the menu. When I saw sausage, eggs and toast I expected the North American experience. Instead I got a large spicy weiner, grease laden eggs and the toast was soaked with grease and fried on the grill. It looked more like french toast. My wife's toasted western was so greasy the bread wasn't toast anymore, eggs were drenched and home fries looked like grease soaked macaroons that were raw in the center. Maybe they should get rid of the Western food names and name it something that resembles the culture from where this style of cooking comes from so our expectations aren't such a misconception. The next customer walked out after seeing what my wife left on her plate! I did give 2 starts however. The waitress was prompt and polite and the restaurant was spotless. Cleaner than any business that has operated there to date. If I do return it will be for an Indian dish, not sausage,...
Read moreCame in for a late breakfast on a layover. Menu has a large selection of Pakistani and Canadian food. Wasn't what I expected. We were the only people in the restaurant. Scrambled eggs were fried eggs chopped up. Beef sausage was deep fried. Mac n Cheese was kraft dinner in a bowl for 10 bucks. Pancakes were quite tasty. Chicken fajita was good. Fries were ok. Ordered coffee and it came out cold so they microwaved it and brought it back. Didn't bring the coffee when we sat but just before the meal so no option for refills. Was colored water with almost no coffee flavour. We were warned it would be 30 minutes for our meal and it was which is fine but no coffee? For $2.99 it should be good coffee and hot. After our meal was brought out there was no checking on us. Not good service. I hate leaving negative reviews but this wasn't a...
