Au Frontibus - Microbrasserie — Restaurant in Gaspé

We had a great experience at Microbrasserie Au Frontibus! The beers were very unique, and very tasty. We ordered the sampler, which was a good way to experience some of the different beers. On top of this, I ordered a Sour Currant beer. I drink a lot of sour beers, and this one is definitely up there on the top of my list!

We also ordered a plate of nachos, but they were devoured before I got any good pictures. They were great! For a brewery, they have some very good food.

We also accidentally ordered the tartar, due to a miscommunication with our French. It was truly a happy accident, as it was delicious.

Afterwards, the brewer, Patrick, gave us a quick tour of their facility. It was really informative and interesting to see the process of a small brewery! And Patrick was kind enough to speak in English for us (and he did an awesome job with that too!).

I was so excited to stop here on my way to Perce. Imagine a beautiful modern building by the ocean, nice and trendy. I wanted to sit on a terrace and enjoy some nice food and beer. But the terrace wasnt facing the ocean and wasnt on a side of the building either... It was by the road! Super close to all cars passing by... Why?? While traveling the Gaspe peninsula for vacation from Nova Scotia, we encountered this Brewpub. One of best places of our trip! Highly recommend. The staff was so friendly. Especially our server, April. They made us feel so comfortable and at home. Being from NS, we were hesitant because we are grossly English but try to speak French while in Quebec.
