Standard fare for a small town eatery. There aren't a ton of options and this stood out as one of the better ones. Space is quite large to the extent that it feels a bit cold and impersonal. There are not a ton of vegetarian options (read: garlic bread), however they also have a vegetarian pizza (or they did that night at least) that was not on the menu, so do ask about that. We stopped by Resto Frites Chez Martin in Gracefield, Quebec while up at a cottage in August 2019. It was pretty busy for a weekday early afternoon which was a good sign. We ordered a couple of deluxe burgers, a large poutine with pulled chicken, and a couple of drinks. They all tasted great. Honestly, my husband and I had a terrible weekend, and this place on the road back home was what we needed. Amazing Club matin sandwich with ham, cheese, and eggs, and also got the smoked meat sandwich. I've tried many institutional smoked meat sandwiches in Montreal, and that one was better than some very well-known establishments. Generous portions
