Wheelhouse Café — Restaurant in Grand Narrows

First time trying the new menu! The berry margaritas are advertised as being pink/purple in color with a garnish and rim. Ours came completely clear with 3 frozen blueberries on top- no garnish, rim or color. We also ordered the snow crab dip which was delicious itself- but the pita was inedible and we had nacho chips instead. We also had the club which was delicious!! fresh chicken, beautiful sourdough. my husband had the fish and chips which was also fantastic . We expected that the new, more condensed menu would mean the items on it would be finessed and as advertised. We visited many times in previous years and had nothing but rave reviews! For a $12 beverage it really should be made as advertised. Nothing was comped or discounted. I share this as someone who worked many years in the restaurant industry. Service and views were great! I know this is still a new menu so maybe working out some kinks still- but more consistency and as advertised would be good. We will try...

Welcoming and Incredible service by the waterfront with nice outdoor seating, the food arrives nice and hot, staff is very friendly. I went during an event with live music and nice folks enjoying the day.

The Greek pizza is a nice and light dish full of tasty flavours, Nachos are nice and crisp and the toppings were fresh, They also have a variety of ice cream which is a nice treat.

The live music was a nice touch to the day, lots of nice people to talk to and the breath of fresh air you get from the waterfront being so close is definitely a refreshment.

Not impressed at all. The cheese board with six minuscule wedges of cheese was accompanied by two 1/2 slices of grilled bread.
