Had breakfast here on Fathers Day. My first time here. It is a really cool place to have a meal. It’s right on the airfield so you can see the planes taking off and landing through the large windows. It was particularly busy that Sunday as there was also a vintage car and aviary show that day on the property. That resulted in a long wait for a table which was understandable. The breakfast menu has all the usual favourites and their signature potato pancakes as an option for side dish. I had an omelette with real Swiss cheese and bacon, rye toast and the potato pancakes, which are small but very tasty. My friend had eggs and sausage. All was delicious with generous portions and reasonably priced. The servers are all friendly and attentive and always topped up the coffee, which is also fantastic. My two minor complaints are that it took an extremely long time to have our food served. The fault there lies with the management and kitchen staff not the servers. And the restaurant was very hot that day. Not sure if the A/C is adequate with the large windows on a sunny day. Besides those issues it was a great Father’s Day breakfast and I would highly recommend Airpark Cafe for their tasty breakfast and the amazing views...
Read moreRecently came with my wife and 3 kids who were all excited to see the planes and eat at this somehow well revered restaurant for breakfast. When we came to a more than half empty restaurant on a Wednesday morning we were told sorry the tables to seat 5 were all taken and we were asked to write our names down, as the hostess walked away with no clear concern or communication. Clearly seeing two tables could be placed together. With 3 young kids we sat outside for 45 minutes while more than 6 couples and some 3 and 4 somes came in and sat down right in front of us, So we left, while my kids asked us why we can’t go eat. An hour and a half later they called us. I will never ever go to this restaurant which is unfortunate because my kids were really excited but how we were treated was disgusting. I don’t see the difference between seating 2 tables of two or my family we were ready to eat and pay the same way. Very unfortunate that this isn’t even...

I was flying back from Brantford to Collingwood today. Was grounded by the weather for a bit and this was the closest airport(never been here before). Needed to refuel, in case I had to circle indefinitely at my destination.
I couldn't figure out how to get the self-serve gas pump to work. The lone guy in the kitchen (he and his wife own the restaurant) came out and helped me get it sorted.
Then I had a marvelous breakfast for lunch - way more than I could eat and way less then I expected to pay.
I plan to return with my wife in the warmer weather.
You gotta drop by this place! It is so popular that it was full (literally) when I landed and remained that way!!
Thanks for the help at the gas pump and the great meal! I made it home safely (tho it was a very...
