Falafel Factory - A Takeout Gem

I recently ordered takeout from Falafel Factory, and it was an incredible experience. The falafel pieces were nothing short of perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. Each bite was a reminder of just how good falafel can be when prepared with care and fresh ingredients.

I ordered both wraps and a platter, and I was thoroughly impressed. The wraps were loaded with delicious hummus, fresh veggies, and perfectly seasoned falafel, all wrapped in soft, warm pita bread. The platter was equally amazing, with generous portions of falafel, hummus, and other Mediterranean delights. The hummus was creamy and rich, pairing beautifully with everything.

What made the experience even more memorable was the hospitality of the owner. They kindly offered us a taste of their freshly prepared finale, which was an unexpected treat and really showcased their passion for the food they serve.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but at the same time, how could we expect to see improvements if we don't? While I've always liked their food, service leaves much to be desired. Today, I walked in and placed a small order. At the 20-minute mark I asked what was taking that long, the response was: "I'm very busy with online orders, and online takes priority. It'll be another 5 minutes." Yet, during the entire 25 minutes I was waiting, not a single person came in to pick up an order. They should learn to respect the walk-in customer as well, and not to make them wait excessively. Let me paint a scenario.... you're driving home on Bedford highway and as you pass by, you decide spontaneously to pick up some food. Of course, no one should text or otherwise fuss with their device while driving. So, they cannot order online. The options would be to drive to another establishment a couple of hundred meters further, or just walk...

This is the first but definitely not the last time I go to the Falafel Factory because the falafels are utterly indulgent. The aroma of these little beauties was making me so hungry my mouth wouldn't stop watering the whole drive home. 🤣🤤 The texture of the falafels is perfect for me where it has a little texture but it's not chunky or ground to paste and because everything is fresh, you'll be getting a significant treat. The hummus is a wonderful accompaniment and the tahini sauce is the perfect accompaniment with fresh pickled vegetables.

I can't believe how fortunate I was to discover the Falafel Factory on Google so if you're wondering if it's worth it to place an order, IT IS!!!
