G's Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Hatchet Lake

G's is our go to for pizza in this area. It's definitely the best tasting with the best ingredients. It does not deliver, but no other pizza place in this area does either.

I rated 4 stars because it's really expensive. I know I said it is the best quality pizza in this area but it is way more expensive than what you'd expect. You can get better much quality pizza in other parts of HRM for around 55-60% of the cost. I know G's is doing less volume of orders than pizza places in other areas and there's savings in bulk ordering, etc but it feels like their profit margins are pretty high!

Unless I'm away, I'll drive to G's for a Donair or Donair Plate. Ive gotta be double digits each year even if I moved. Love the food. Actually I'm trying to think, Jesus I've eaten a lotta Donair.

The only time I had a Donair that wasn't up to snuff (still had good weight! Likely a newbie). I left a review and next week went back with another order for a Donair and a Donair Plate (more than one person, lol). George came out and in a friendly way wanted to figure out what went wrong last time. I wasn't looking for handouts but he was engaged and concerned and made it right. You probably lost 20 visits from our family to get a pizza and more. But good thing we now have a Jessy's pizza close. Too bad because I would come here over Jessy's any day, no brainer!
