WOW — Jagare Ridge absolutely blew me away! Visiting some friends in Edmonton, I decided to sneak in a solo round, and this hidden gem made my trip unforgettable.
From the moment I arrived, the service was next-level. The Jagare Ridge team — from the pro shop to the restaurant — went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing experience. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to have you there — you can feel it from the second you walk in.
The course itself? Incredible. I played the front nine and was hooked instantly. A thrilling mix of long par 4s, sneaky dogleg par 5s, and some tough par 3s that really make you think. Just when you think you’ve figured it out — boom — another twist. This course challenges you in the best possible way!
The practice facilities were spotless, with a beautiful range and putting green to get you warmed up. Plus, the cart and range balls were included in a super reasonable green fee — such great value!
Even more impressive? This was only their second day of the season, and the fairways and greens were absolutely pristine. Huge shoutout to the grounds crew — you can tell they poured their hearts into getting the course ready after a long winter.
And I have to say — DO NOT leave without trying the club sandwich. Absolute game changer. Fresh, stacked, and seriously one of the best post-round meals I’ve had anywhere.
Jagare Ridge is now officially on my must-visit list anytime I’m in Edmonton. I’d play here again in a heartbeat — and...

Boasting some of the most beautiful golf I’ve played in the Edmonton area... comes with the most inhospitable staff and course communications I’ve ever encountered.
There are signs EVERYWHERE stating what you cannot do. They like to use the words ‘strictly enforced’.
No one here smiles or greets you with sincerity. Except for the cart boy. The gentleman in the pro shop was down right rude.
You can’t drop clubs off, when you arrive. There is no water, or snack cart on the course. Drive up window was closed. Mistakenly went to the pro shop thinking it was the clubhouse. The pro shop gentleman again stepped into his rude demeanour. With amount of signs this place has, an arrow to the clubhouse when the snack window is closed would be helpful.
Oh! And for everyone who has a habit for breaking the following golf cart items: Windshield, Front End, Steering Column, or tampering with the cart... prices for these infractions are listed right in front of you all the time in the middle of the windshield.
Didn’t come across a marshal the entire course. Had a few mowers scowl as we played. Engines running the whole time. No courtesy.
My money will be spent elsewhere. So very disappointed with this course. Such potential. Management needs to work on...
Read moreCourse was phenomenal and well taken care of. Facilities were great and enjoyed the course overall. However, there was an issue with the cart lady serving drinks. We paid for four drinks and she drove off without giving us the drinks. No big deal things happen. When she came back and we asked her about the drinks, she literally called us liars and was extremely rude. Unacceptable. After we finished I went to the pro shop to talk about it, once again the same. I was brushed off rudely with zero effort to correct the situation. I don’t care about the money or the drinks but the principle of me paying for something and not receiving what I paid for and to be called a liar as a customer over 4 drinks was very disappointing. I thought I found the course to take my clients golfing but was really turned off by this. No one cared to help or listen. I didn’t even want a refund or the drinks, just an acknowledgement would have been nice. Would have got 5 stars had it not been for the poor customer service over something so minimal. Will most likely try other courses before giving them...
