I love eating here. And their coffee is amazing too. If you want good food that’s homemade, fresh, delicious and satisfying- this place is it. They have incredible treats that are mouthwatering and delicious without being overly sweet. They have healthy options too, if you’re inclined that way. Or mix and match and fee satisfied. I love eating at this cafe. I always leave feeling full, but not heavy. Happy at the warm friendly service. Remember to support local businesses; especially if they are run by a local family!

This is a cute little cafe/restaurant on your way in/out to Hopewell Rock. We visited as two families (total of 10) and each of us quite enjoyed our meals. I chose the seafood bake, which was made from scratch and fantastic. The wives had the Thai Bowl and they both loved it. The kids meals were perfect and the staff (mother and daughter) were pretty awesome. The coffees were the best we’ve had on the east coast, do yourself a favour and stop by this cute little cafe, it’s a definite treat.

Fantastic late lunch and coffee here on the way back from Hopewell Rocks. I had the pesto chicken panini, which was good, but my wife’s seafood chowder really stole the show—perfectly seasoned and loaded with seafood, served with a flaky cheddar biscuit on the side. Highly recommended. Also enjoyed their caramel cinnamon latte and a cinnamon bun, plus picked up some sandwiches and oatcakes for later. Friendly staff, bright decor, plenty of seating— Wish I was a local here!

10/10 cinnamon buns. 0/10 service. On a previous visit I was told weekends are busy even just for pick ups, so to call a head to place an order. No problem, smart helpful tip so I called and said I'd be there in half an hour and was told they had set aside cinnamon buns I requested. I was 10 minutes late because of the construction with the causeway and when I arrived I was told they didn't have any, and that more were being put in the oven, should only be ten minutes. It was presented to me as "we wanted to make sure you got really fresh ones" not as "we gave away the order you asked to be put aside". No problem 10 minutes is fine, so I pay and they said I could wait out front in my vehicle and they would bring them out to me. I waited for 35 minutes, and as I watched the person who served me at the cash bring out cinnamon buns to a table who was sat outside, I decided go in and get them myself. I understand being busy, I understand giving away the cinnamon buns that I was instructed to call ahead to have set aside, but what I don't understand is the lack of acknowledgement for how terrible an experience it was. When I went inside to ask if my cinnamon buns were ready, the server I dealt with said "they've been ready for twenty minutes, we've been waiting for you to come get them". The same server who instructed me to wait in my car, was scolding me for doing as she asked. Overall the cinnamon buns are delicious, maybe I just caught the customer service on an off day- hope that doesn't...

We dined at Cinnamon Soul on Friday, Nov. 8 at 4 pm. Our meals were excellent. We have been to Cinnamon Soul many times over the years but this was our first visit since the new owners took it over. I had the Thai Roll and lentil soup, a vegetarian standard for me. Both were delicious, in fact I found both items were actually better under the new ownership, subtle changes but better for sure. Hubby had the Newfoundland Fishcakes and baked beans which he said were excellent. I also had an Oatmilk Latte… which was surprisingly better than Starbucks or Tim’s. The staff (cook and server) were friendly and very accommodating.

The only downside is that the restaurant closes at 5 pm on Fridays 🤷🏼‍♀️! While the friendly staff assured us there was no rush and to stay as long as we liked, we did not feel comfortable doing that. So we ate quickly and left before 5:00. We would have preferred to have a drink with dinner and some dessert…they have fabulous desserts, but with a 5 pm closing on a Friday it is not doable for us. We would do lunch next time.

The atmosphere is eclectically charming and well maintained. However it was too cold and we had to leave our coats on during dinner. Regardless, we highly recommend...

I was really disappointed with the service and quality of food. We stopped for a late lunch after going to the Bay of Fundy. It is a cute little cafe. There were only 4 tables occupied, so one would expect good service, but there was not. We had a ask for cutlery and a refill of coffee. Our food took 40 minutes to come out, and the nachos we received were flat and tasted like they were microwaved. The burger that was the special was good though and looked and tasted like it was homemade and worth the price. When we asked for the bill, it was never brought to us, so after 5 minutes of the server not coming back, we went up to pay and our server could not remember what we ordered. After we finally paid and were walking out the door, she caught me and told me she forgot to ring in the muffins. Overall, the appearance of the cafe is cute and looks like it is a great experience, but we did not have a good experience at all. We paid $60 for 3 plates and 3 muffins, one would think the food would be good, but pride is not evident in all their menu items I guess. I would not recommend this place to...
