Subway — Restaurant in Hope

If you can avoid this one. The wait was ridiculously long, each person has their own station and they go utterly slow. Ive been to multiple subways across canada this by far was the slowest service ever received. The sizing of the sub width wise was also significantly smaller in comparison to the other subway i've been to recently. Worst part was they do not know how to charge the right amount for combos... you either get chips or two cookies per combo. We got charged extra for that until we noticed and got a refund afterwards but had we not they would have cheated us on the pricing as the cashier was super confident when explaining to me the receipt. I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway location. The employee named Mehak was extremely rude and unprofessional toward me. She was serving white customers with a friendly attitude, greeting them warmly and thanking them, but when it came to me, she didn’t even say hello or acknowledge me with basic courtesy. The difference in how she treated customers was very noticeable and upsetting. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a customer service role. Freshly renovated and bright inside. New seating and layout. Our food was prepared and served properly and promptly. Pretty much everything is better inside. I wasost impressed that at this location, the credit card processor does not prompt for a tip

The one holdover and drawback is that while all seats were available, there wasn't a clean table to be found. A suggestion ... if you're not going to clean, perhaps leave out a roll of paper towels and a trigger sprayer with some cleaner so we can do...
